About Us

Enfield Amateur Swimming Club

Enfield Amateur Swimming Club has been operating since 1933 and has been the breeding ground for many accomplished swimmers in the area.  The Club offers a comprehensive and progressive swimming program, which is aimed at assisting members to improve their swimming and racing skills in a socially competitive environment.

The Club is open to swimmers of all ages and abilities.  Race nights are relaxed and enjoyable. Club members are encouraged to race against their own "personal best" times, providing the potential for swimmers of all levels to improve and achieve.  Age championship events are run each season and race distances are varied to suit each age group.  Most importantly, the club offers a supportive environment for swimmers to realise their own individual goals.

Enfield Amateur Swimming Club creates an ideal opportunity for swimmers to implement what they have been taught in squads or learn-to-swim programs.  It also offers invaluable racing experience which is ideal preparation for school swimming carnivals.  The Club is affiliated with Swimming NSW, which enables entry into club based swimming carnivals if members wish to compete at higher levels.

Enfield Aquatic Centre

Our race season runs every Friday night from October to March / April each year at Enfield Aquatic Centre on Portland Street, Enfield.  The 50m pool we swim in is the oldest freshwater pool in Sydney.  It is very deep at one end, as it doubles up as a diving pool.  Entry to the pool is $3.80 per person for Club members.
